Hollywood star Brad Pitt is ready to take fans into the insights of the F1 racer’s life with his upcoming film. However, the star had faced a health scare while filming for an intense car crash scene.

Brad collapsed on set after he was out of the car and was spotted stumbling away from the wreck and later fainted onto a padded mat held by the crew. The action-packed film is scheduled to be released in June 2025. In the film, real F1 drivers make appearances, and Brad Pitt drives a specially modified F2 vehicle.

On November 23, a video went viral on social media in which Brad hit the track to film a scene as his character, Sonny Hayes. This was right after George Russell secured pole position for the Vegas race. Fans captured him in racing gear a few hours later, stumbling away from an accident site before he collapsed onto a padded mat that a crew member was holding.

Following the scene, Brad issued a statement about his health while referring to his character Sonny and said, “During qualifying, Sonny sustained a significant impact requiring immediate medical evaluation. Incidents of this magnitude are always taken seriously, and Sonny’s health remains our top priority.”

Brad Pitt has established himself as a fixture at Grand Prix events as the final shooting schedule draws near for his highly anticipated film.

Meanwhile, Brad’s upcoming American sports drama is directed by Joseph Kosinski, renowned for Top Gun: Maverick. It is written by Ehren Kruger, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and co-produced with F1 legend Lewis Hamilton. The film stars Brad as a retired Formula One driver returning to the racing scene. He teams up with his partner, played by Damson Idris, for APXGP, a fictional racing team.
